types of employment
Full time employment:
This type of employment makes up the highest amount of jobs and consists of more than 30 hour of work a week, this type of employment also requires a work contract and a monthly salary, however this comes with job security and a guarantee of pay as well as the chance to increase job standing and as a result an increase in pay, but a full time job also means less free time and it is difficult to change jobs.
part time employment:
this type of employment is very common among young people and consists of less than 30 hours of work a week, this type of employment is a lot more flexible than full time employment as it normally consists of between 2 and 4 work days which means more free time to do other things, however there isn’t really anyway to progress in part time work other than moving on to full time work making this type ill suited to people looking to start a carrier, part time work also offers less pay than full time work.
freelance work :
this type of work involves people licencing themselves out to various companies to complete projects or tasks the company cant put their own staff on, in this type of work h hours vary dramatically depending on the type of work and the time scale given, the advantages of this type of work are that a freelance worker can decide what jobs they do and who they work for but on the other hand there is no job security and it can be very hard to find work and have a consistent flow of income.
